Another lamp update!

So one of my favorite people in the whole wide world has been here from Florida for the last week so I haven't done too much in the creative area.  I did manage to redo a lampshade I found at Goodwill  this week.
Look at the detail on this lamp shade, love the scallops but I don't like the color. This came with a lamp also. It needed more color... too boring.
Here is the lamp. I love glass and I loved the price, $5.00 for the lamp and shade.
This was simple. I just wrapped grosgrain ribbon around the shade.  It took about 9 yards of ribbon for a 7 inch lampshade.  I simply pinned the ribbon on the inside of the shade, that way if I ever want to change it out I haven't ruined the lampshade.
Isn't it cute! I love this swirly glass and it matches perfect for my new craft room.
Here is it lit up, you can see the glass base a bit better now.
I had to show you these little measuring cups. I had a birthday this week.  My husband bought these little elephant measuring cups for me. (I collect elephants.) I LOVE elephants and I love these cups.  They are ceramic.  I am afraid they are going to get broken in the kitchen. I may fill them with buttons and such in my craft room.
I am dying to get my fall stuff out tomorrow. Wish me luck!!!
